Trunk or Treat

Join us on Sunday, October 26, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm in the church parking lot for our annual “Trunk or Treat.” Decorate your trunk and pass out some treats to the kids. We also need volunteers to bring chili for our chili cook-off. Wear your Halloween costumes, bring a treat bag, and some friends! The sign-up sheets will be on the patio after worship services. All Souls Day Services

On Sunday, November 2nd, we will hold two services at 9:15am and 10:45am to remember and celebrate the lives of our loved ones who have passed away. This service will be a musical tribute featuring special readings, songs, and a candle lighting opportunity to honor our departed loved ones. New Members Class

If you are interested in learning more about the Presbyterian Church or are interested in becoming a member, a membership class will be held on Sunday, November 9 from 1:00pm until 3:00 pm, in the church parlor. Thanksgiving Baskets

Each year we supply a meal for Thanksgiving Day for 150 families in our valley.  We need help putting these meals together and delivering them to the families in need. Plan now to join us on Saturday, Nov. 22 at 8:30am in Fellowship Hall. Please prayerfully consider a donation to this outreach with either your time or a monetary donation. Worship in the Park & BBQ

Join us for our annual Worship in the Park & All Church BBQ on Sunday, October 12. Worship begins at 9:30am (only service that day) at Soule Park (area #4). We are having our yummy tri-tip and chicken lunch. There will be games, our annual cake walk, face painting, and fun for all ages. Last names A-P bring a dessert; Q-Z bring a side salad. Bring a cake for our annual cake walk. Gather the whole family, some friends and neighbors. Soule Park entrance fee is $5 per vehicle. Celebrating Song as Prayer

You are invited by the OPC Deacons to join their program Celebrating Song As Prayer on Sunday October 5 at 4:00pm in the sanctuary.  Led by the Praise Band, it will be a combination of both traditional and contemporary hymns, encouraging all who come to lift up their voices together in fellowship, reflection and joy.

Sr. Ministry OTR

Join us on Monday, September 29, for a unique educational tour of Lake Casitas hosted by a special group of local historians and environmental activists. This exciting excursion is organized by Ojai Rotary West and will take place on a floating classroom. The cost per person is $10. We’ll meet at OPC at 9:30 am. All Church Hike

Shelf Road All Church Hike - Sept. 27 at 9:00am

Mark your calendar for Saturday, Sept. 27, at 9:00am for a hike up Shelf Road. Come one, come all (singles, couples, families & children). Bring water, sunscreen, a sturdy hat and light snack. We will walk half way to the middle benches and return (about 1.5 miles). It should take about an hour and half. Woman's Bible Study

Christ’s Sermon on the Mount is his longest continuous discourse that is packed with guidance on how to live in this complicated world.  Evelyn Caliri will be leading this bible study at her home beginning Wednesday, Sept. 24.  Come unfold the depth He shares within community, renewing your spirit in truth and fellowship. Nita Hansen Visit

God’s Hidden Treasures, founded in 1997 by Nita Hansen, is a mission partner dedicated to serving the needs of people with disabilities and orphans in Ukraine. We have been fortunate to be a part of Nita’s mission for many years. Join us on Sunday, September 14, at all three worship services to hear Nita preach and share updates on the situation in Ukraine. Then, at 12:00pm, we will have a lunch in the church parlor to discuss further.

Thanksgiving Basket Needs

Each year, we provide a Thanksgiving meal for 150 families in our valley. We kindly request your assistance in donating to these meals. Please visit the house on the patio and pick up a card of an item to purchase. You can then have it shipped directly to the church or drop it off by October 5th.

On Saturday, November 22nd at 8:30 am, we will be gathering in the Fellowship Hall to help assemble and deliver these meals to the families in the valley. For more information, please contact us at missions@ojaipc.org.

Food Share Food Sort Day

Since 1978, Food Share has been feeding the hungry in Ventura County. They distribute nearly 19 million pounds of food, providing 16 million meals annually to people in Ventura County through its hunger programs.  Join OPC on Saturday, Sept. 13 from 9:00 - 11:30 for a day of sorting food at their food bank in Oxnard. Family to Family

Since 1983, Family to Family has been serving the community five days a week. They serve about 50,000 meals per year to all who are hungry and are an all-volunteer organization which is committed to feeding and helping others. Secure Beginnings Diaper Drive

Join us on the first Sunday of each month as we collaborate with our local mission partner, Secure Beginnings, to donate to their diaper bank. This group meets on the first Friday of each month for food, fellowship and to be in community with families of young children. Tami has planned a fun night on Friday, Sept. 5 at 5:30 at OPC.
